We have been involved with the Linux operating system almost since
its inception, and with the Python development language for several
years. Contributing to annual Python conferences and being actively
involved in the Open Source community locally, nationally and internationally.
Thyme
Our experience with these products has enabled us to evolve our own
Rapid Development Environment - Thyme - and now that Thyme is a
thoroughly reliable product (available for UNIX and Windows, as well as
on Linux and now being trialled on the MAC) we have made it available

Thyme is built around the Python programming language, the PyQt
screen designer and a number of custom widgets that we have developed
to make particular tasks easier and add even more functionality.
Open-source solutions development
The very active Python and Linux communities subscribe to the
open-source ethos. The licensing options we offer reflect this and you
have the opportunity to join both communities and participate in their
dialogues both online and at the events they organise in the UK and
elsewhere.
Some businesses, for perfectly valid reasons, are uncomfortable with
the open source licensing model and we are happy to discuss
alternatives if you feel this way. But you should be aware of just how
many big-name companies are now realising the potential business
benefits of open source, as checking through the membership lists of The Linux Foundation will confirm.
