The basics
Our rapid development environment, Thyme, is available for free download (unsupported) or as a commercially available subscription-based fully-supported product.
We developed Thyme because we wanted to integrate the power of the Python language and the excellent screen-building capabilities of PyQt with the libraries and custom widgets we had developed ourselves.

We use Thyme ourselves
We use Thyme to develop new software and extend existing systems for our customers and for our own internal systems. We have developed a range of training courses to ensure that those of you who take up Thyme can learn to use it as a practical tool and with as short a learning curve as possible.
Because Thyme is so valuable to us - it has dramatically reduced our development cycle - we are committed to its continuing development, but even if we weren't any competent software developer adopting Thyme would have the full source code and would thus be able to support it even if we vanished.
No licences to be purchased!
No proprietary software licences are required for you to use Thyme yourself, or to deploy applications developed using Thyme. The only charge we make is for the supported version of Thyme (each developer seat subscription costs £600+VAT per year) or if you require additional training beyond that covered by the subscription.
You are, of course, responsible for ensuring that any systems you develop that are integrated with third-party software are properly licenced.

Thyme programs are easy to integrate with applications written in Sculptor 4GL, C, C++, and other languages.
Through its ability to use other databases such as Sculptor, Thyme ensures that the tried and trusted systems at the core of your business can be evolved to meet future needs, rather than having to be thrust aside . . . our watchwords are evolution, not revolution.
